Any Aussies in the UK??

Hi everyone.

My name is Trish and 8 months ago hubby, son and I moved to the UK from the NSW Central Coast.  We are living in Cambridgeshire.

So far we're loving it here.  I have been working part time since early November.  Our son really loves his school and is now getting involved in Science Club and Cubs.

Are there are any Aussies in my neck of the woods?

Hi Trish,
we are based out of Dublin......though Jenni goes across to the UK on a regular basis.....She is going across to visit friends over in Ascot in a few weeks.....not sure how far Ascot is from Cambridgeshire.......but nothing is very far from anywhere else in the UK....

Hiya Peter,

What part of Oz are you from?

We've been here almost a year now and it's definately had its ups and downs.  Our son is doing well at school and I'm quite liking my job.  I work for as a receptionist for an accountancy firm.  What sort of work do you and your wife do?

Ascot is just under 2 hours from us in Cambs.  Would be lovely to make some new Aussie friends over here.
